The Greene County Family Justice Center is a coalition of community agencies with the goal of ending domestic violence and providing resources to victims. Safe to Sleep

Safe to Sleep provides temporary overnight shelter for Springfield women who are homeless, as well as providing breakfast and basic needs for the women that they serve. They seek volunteers to work an overnight shift assisting with opening and closing the shelter. Additionally, they take donations for the basic needs of the women. Care to Learn focuses on meeting immediate needs of students in Southwest Missouri “in the areas of health, hunger and hygiene” with the goal of setting students up for present educational and future career success. They do this through partnering with school districts throughout the area to empower them to meet needs for their students. They seek financial support, and to volunteer, they ask interested people to reach out to their local chapter.

NightLight is an international organization operating in Bangkok, Thailand and Southwest Missouri that seeks to liberate women from the sex trafficking industry and to empower them into a restored life of self-sufficiency. They do this through outreach, awareness and restoration. Volunteers have the opportunity to reach out to and build meaningful relationships with women trapped in the sex industry in Southwest Missouri as well as enter into mentoring relationships with women who have been liberated. I Pour Life is an international organization operating in Ethiopia, Texas, and Missouri that seeks to provide resources and mentorship to empower individuals and communities without social and economic advantage towards self-sufficiency, especially among at-risk youth.
